Introduction
We have commissioned short films, created a series of expert talks and uncovered archives of early film footage to help tell the story of the Sikhs in WW1.
Short films
A series of short films, including the first-hand experiences of WW1 veterans, documentaries and an animated music video, that offer new perspectives on how Sikhs experienced WW1.
Archive footage
This collection of archive footage shot in England, France and across the Middle East from 1914-21 provides fascinating insights into the lives and experiences of the Sikh and other Indian troops during the ‘war to end all wars’.
