Today UKPHA were invited on Sky News with host Sara-Jane Mee to talk about Sikhs and World War One as part of the channel's reporting in the run up to the 100 year anniversary of the outbreak of war on Monday.

Harbakhsh Grewal spoke about the enormous forgotten contribution of the British Indian Army, which saw 1 in 6 of Britain's men in the war coming from the subcontinent.

He also spoke about the role of the Sikhs, a tiny minority numbering just 1% of the Indian population but who made up nearly 20% of the Indian Army in 1914.

With your help 'We Will Remember Them'.
